Shell Crown Making Workshop — Mackay Date: October 25 | Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Create your own handcrafted shell crown using natural shells, rhinestones, gemstones, and pearls. This guided workshop covers basic crown construction, secure attachment techniques, and decorative design tips so you leave with a wearable, festival/beach ready piece. Your beautifully designed crown will be sparkling in rhinestones, pearls, shells and specialty gems you choose. You will choose from a couple of different options of colour palette to work with to create a beautiful and colourful crown(white options available also).
The workshop will also include a ‘Dreamy Mocktail’ and baked treat.
What to expect
All materials provided: a selection of shells, rhinestones, gemstones, pearls, headband, adhesives, and finishing supplies.
Step-by-step instruction from an experienced maker.
Techniques taught: layering elements, secure gluing and gemstones arrangements and placing
Who should attend
Beginners and makers with some experience. No prior jewelry or rhinestone experience required.
Ages 10+. Participants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Adult accompaniment may have seating off to the side.
